In the Meyer’s RV Super Sportsman main event, Kenny Edkin drove from 14th to the front to capture the entertaining 25-Lap main event. It was his second win of the season in the division.
Scott Grace started third and led the first eight circuits before Timmie Barrick took over and led through Lap 14. Matt Ondek, a winner at the speedway earlier this year, took his turn up front on Lap 15.
Edkin took his time carving his way through the field. He was running sixth on Lap 11 and blasted his way into the top five on the 12th circuit. Just as Ondek was taking the lead, the Marysville, Pa., ace was punching his ticket to the runner-up spot.
Once in second, Edkin wasted little time tracking down the leader. He shot by Ondek on Lap 18 and survived a late caution to take the win over Tony Jackson, Ondek, Jay Fannasy, and last week’s winner, Scott Dellinger.
