Tony Jackson takes the Lehman's Towing Tour Series Checkered at Path Valley

The Winged Super Sportsman entered the oval with power surging, as Matt Ondek and Tony Jackson took their places in the front row of the fourteen-car field. Ondek controlled the first lap but Jackson took the lead on lap two ahead of John Edkin, Ondek, Kenny Edkin, & Jay Fannasy for the lap's top five.

Jackson, John Edkin and Ondek held the top three positions for six laps till Kenny Edkin passed Ondek, taking charge of the 3rd position. Jay Fannasy, pulled by Ondek on lap 10 claiming fourth place, as the division ran non-stop with Jackson gaining space ahead of the second-place runner, John Edkin. Kenny Edkin was putting the pressure on John Edkin, making his move on lap 16, claiming 2nd place. Jackson led the racers to the checkered with Kenny Edkin. John Edkin, Jay Fannasy and Matt Ondek finishing in the top five. Jackson had the best lap, racing 73.475 MPH in 12.249 seconds.

     The fans were ready and waiting for the Metzler's Trailer Wingless Super Sportsman 93 Lap Feature event in memory of Walt Bigler who passed away earlier this year. Brad Mellott and Jason Failor were in the hot seats when the flag went green with Mellott, Failor, and Trent Yoder at the front of the pack. Mellott took the lead for four laps, till Yoder came from sixth starting spot to take the lead for two laps, then went to second for 37 laps, where he started to show a possible problem, eventually calling it a night with 68 laps complete., Tony Jackson arrived at the front on lap seven and stayed there for the remainder of the race. Jackson had the best lap racing at 71.690 MPH in 12.554 seconds.
