Trent Yoder started in 7th position in the Metzler Auto, Truck & Trailer Wingless Super Sportsman feature event & piloted his way to 2nd place by lap 16, where he confronted race leader, Transtan Stoner, driving to the inside to gain the lead on the following lap where he remained till the finish.
Sam Leonard & Brad Cowan led the sportsman to green with 3rd place starter, Transtan Stoner, pulling to the lead with Leonard, Eric Walker, Cowan & Yoder in the top five. A caution for Adam Meier with 6 laps complete, put the top five in a tightened reline with Stoner & Leonard in competition for the lead, for the next 8 laps, till a caution in turn one created inches between the racers on the reline, with Yoder moving to 2nd, then on to the lead as Stoner, Leonard, Cowan, & Walker were running in the top five.
Craig Perigo got his racer into the turn 4 infield with 9 laps to go putting him to the rear of the line. Yoder, Stoner, Leonard, Walker & 8th place starter, Steve Wilbur were sitting in the top five as the flag went green, with Wilbur passing Cowan & Walker to move into 3rd place where he remained as Yoder took the checkered followed by Stoner, Wilbur, Walker, & Cowan for the top five. Yoder had the best speed lap traveling 70.755 MPH in 12.720 seconds.
